I have been at TMR a few times and i have never had a problem with mike or Brian these Guys know there Cars, and there work it outstanding as it the prices they give. I have been to other places and have been taken advantage of and lots of thing have gone wrong but at T.M .R they tell you whats wrong and the price is just right. Thank You Guys.

I wanted to take a moment first to thank the folks at TMR for their exceptional service. Without a doubt, I have found the place I will be taking my vehicle to for any future needs. That being said, my experience. I'd come out to my car this morning to find that it wouldn't start and stay running unless I held my foot on the gas. Spent the better part an hour trying to find someone who could take my car today and give me at least a prayer of having it back on the road today as well. In searching Google, I came across TMR and to my delight saw they were located very close to my home, talk about convenient. Upon calling, the phone was answered promptly, the woman in the office was friendly, compassionate, and helpful in getting me the information I needed and to my great luck, they would be able to get me in today. Upon arrival, I was greeted by this same woman and she was just as personable in person as she'd been on the phone. It did take a little over an hour for someone to take the first looks at my car but given that it was close to noon by the time the tow truck came to get it and drop it off, and there were other cars in the bays when I arrived, I think that was awesome. Once it was in, things were explained to me as well as shown and I was made to feel very comfortable and confident in the technicians working on my car. (And my old girl was NOT trying to play nice today) They charged me a fair price for the services, an oil change, a front passenger brake line replacement, and basically a full clean down of the throttle (not to mention thy took my brakes all apart and looked at them closely too since I did have a Brake light on... thus the line change) and they were very diligent in looking things over to pinpoint the problems, even when my Cavalier decided she wasn't ready to leave yet. A+ service, A+ professionalism, A+ pricing. 10/10 I would be HAPPY to recommend them to anyone! Thank you to you folks on more time!

Be aware that TMR Automotive has moved to a bigger facility right down the street from its original location. The new address is 138 Norwich Ave Norwich Ct 06360. The shop is on the corner of Route 12 (Norwich Ave) and Hunters Road in Norwich. The new location is around a mile north of the old one. And located on the left side of the street. TMR will get the above photo updated to their new location soon.

TMR Automotive has worked on my 2001 Subaru Forester several times. I have used several different mechanics in the Norwich area and TMR Automotive is BY FAR the best repair shop I have been to. The owner, Mike Burgess, is an extremely competent, certified master technician. His knowledge of the automotive field is extremely impressive. TMR also has the most reasonable and fair prices out of all the places I have done business with. TMR has saved me literally thousands of dollars. Every time I have had a problem TMR has accurately diagnosed the issue and effected repairs quickly without any additional costs or fees. I couldn't offer a higher recommendation. TMR Automotive beats all others hands down.

I've always had a lot of trepidation when it came to finding someone I could trust to work on my vehicles. I've been burned a # of times as I'm sure you have been too. In fact I've already written about one experience (you can see it on yelp) where I felt I really got screwed. So when I got a glowing recommendation about a guy and his business from the manager of the tire shop in town I was more then a bit skeptical. But I had a real problem. The struts in my car were destroyed... The car was dangerous to drive... I had to have it fixed... So I took a shot. As soon as I spent a few minutes talking with Mike at tmr automotive I knew I was in good hands. He walked me through and explained the problem, showed me the details and told me what was needed. (little did he know I already had 2 quotes and I knew exactly what the problem was) So I was prepared.... BUT what I wasn't prepared for was the price he quoted me. GHESH I almost fell over... The price he quoted me beat all the other prices of the other shops in town for an excellent job, done quickly and extremely well. This is what I learned... The other guys all priced it the same way. They looked at their "book" and quoted me right out of the standard price book. Now Mike at TMR... He does things differently. He used his 25 years of experience to take a hard look and evaluated the REAL situation. So he priced it based on reality NOT the way the standard industry does it. That's exactly why he gave me a true SOLID & FAIR price. I pulled the trigger and let him get started. What an awesome job. I was so thrilled I immediately brought my other car to him. I can comfortably say this is the place I'll be bringing my cars to hands down. So if you're like me and a bit skittish when it comes to auto repair places you really need to visit TMR and tell Mike I sent you. But before you call him check out the prices of your current guy and then call Mike. I'm sure you'll be happy you did.
